Soil protection law

Harmful alterations of the soil and pollution can reduce the value of real estate and also entail comprehensive investigation and rectification obligations.

We advise on all issues relating to soil protection law. In particular, we assist land owners and alleged causers of harmful soil alterations with regard to risk potential assessments and investigation orders as well as the planning and implementation of rectification and removal measures. Of course, we also represent your interests in disputes with the authorities or private persons, e.g. in the defence against rectification orders or in the drafting of corresponding agreements.

Our advice also focuses on assistance in transactions, especially the acquisition or sale of real estate or legal succession for a certain location. We draft legally secure contracts that take the existing liability risks into account.
