Our lawyers have a sound knowledge of industry and are proven experts for their specific areas of practice. Loschelder was founded in 2002 by nine partners from the former Cologne office of the international law firm Norton Rose; before that, the law firm was part of Gaedertz Vieregge Quack Kreile. Five of our partners come from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
Law is developing further in the wake of emerging markets, new technologies and changed requirements in the business world. We accompany these developments in a large range of specialist publications. Many of us lecture at universities and are engaged in lawyers’ further education. We also sponsor young academics through doctoral scholarships.
In many cases the internationally networked economy does not permit national problem solutions. Loschelder is therefore a member of TerraLex, a leading international network of commercial law firms which enables us to provide best-practice support in cross-border cases and on legal issues arising in any major jurisdiction.
