LOSCHELDER Advises MANN+HUMMEL on the sale of its Water & Fluid Solutions business to VTC
LOSCHELDER has advised MANN+HUMMEL Group on the sale of the membrane bioreactor technology division of MANN+HUMMEL Water & Fluid Solutions GmbH to VTC.
The business unit develops and delivers advanced membrane solutions for municipal and industrial applications. With the internationally established BIO-CEL technology platform, the company holds a leading position in membrane bioreactor technology. The business unit is excellently positioned to benefit from structural growth in water treatment – driven by water scarcity, stricter environmental regulations, industrial water reuse and the modernisation of existing infrastructure – leveraging its longstanding technological expertise, broad IP portfolio and international market presence.
MANN+HUMMEL Group is a global leader in filtration and separation technologies. The family-owned company, founded in 1941 and headquartered in Ludwigsburg, Germany, develops filters and systems for the automotive industry, mechanical engineering, industrial applications as well as clean air and water solutions. MANN+HUMMEL operates at more than 80 locations worldwide and employs over 20,000 people. In 2025, MANN+HUMMEL Group generated sales of approximately 4.2 billion euros.
Closing of the transaction is expected by the end of the year 2026.
The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
