LOSCHELDER Advises IC on the Acquisition of the Student Residence ”THE FIZZ”
LOSCHELDER advised the International Campus Group (IC) on the acquisition of the student residence "THE FIZZ" in Bremen. The seller was Württembergische Lebensversicherung AG.
IC is a leading investor, developer and operator of concepts for student and urban living in Europe and has reacquired the student residence "THE FIZZ" in Bremen. The building has already been operated by IC since 2012 and is the pilot project of the "THE FIZZ" brand.
The building currently has around 13,000 square meters of gross floor area (GFA), 335 apartments for students, numerous common areas and 32 parking spaces in the building's own underground garage. In the course of the acquisition, it is planned to implement a new design and service concept. The common areas of the building are to be completely renovated and the apartment furnishings upgraded. Student housing has developed further in recent years, and a new concept is intended to create a long-term perspective for IC.
