JUVE Awards 2022: LOSCHELDER is “Law Firm of the Year for Medium-Sized Businesses (Mittelstand)” and “Law Firm of the Year for the West”
LOSCHELDER has been named “Law Firm of the Year for Medium-sized Companies (Mittelstand)” and “Law Firm of the Year for the West” at the JUVE Awards 2022. A team of eight LOSCHELDER lawyers accepted the award at a festive awards ceremony on October 27, 2022 at the Alte Oper in Frankfurt am Main.
Every year, the renowned JUVE publishing house awards prizes in 36 categories to business law firms and in-house departments that have stood out for their particularly successful activities in client work and market positioning. With the “Law Firm of the Year for Medium-Sized Businesses (Mittelstand)” award, JUVE recognises the overall development of the law firm and looks in particular at client orientation, law firm culture, career opportunities, profitability, personnel growth and expansion into new business areas or markets. The famous German Mittelstand is often regarded as the backbone of the German economy, typically consisting of highly innovative family-owned businesses, which are often considered “hidden champions” in their fields and whose products are in high demand around the globe.
In the evaluation by the specialist publisher, the young LOSCHELDER lawyers in particular receive praise as being “exemplary in their commitment” or “professionally sound and Mittelstand-oriented.” With reference to several partner appointments in recent years, JUVE emphasises that the firm consistently promotes its young talent. The publisher also praises the expansion of further specialisations, the successful integration of highly qualified lateral hires from large law firms and the good networking of the firm’s individual practice areas.
The basis for the annual JUVE Awards is the extensive research carried out by the JUVE editorial team for the “JUVE Handbook of Commercial Law Firms,” which is based on several thousand contacts with various market participants. The handbook, which has been published annually since 1999, provides a comprehensive overview of all commercial law firms in Germany.
