New publication with Loschelder participation: The hand commentary on the Insurance Contract Act

The 5th edition of the Nomos Handkommentar zum VVG was published on 9 December 2024. Co-editor and author is Dr Wilfried Rüffer. Dr Rüffer comments on the regulations in the VVG on the expert procedure and accident insurance as well as the GDV's model conditions for fire insurance, homeowners' insurance and accident insurance. Dr Sandra Orlikowski-Wolf is a first-time author with the newly added commentaries on pecuniary loss liability insurance and D&O insurance.

The 5th edition of the HK-VVG offers a well-founded and detailed commentary on all essential provisions of insurance contract law, including the VVG, VVG-InfoV, EGVVG and AltZertG. The most important model insurance conditions are discussed, such as the AVB PHV, VHB 2022 (square metre model), VGB 2022, AKB 2015, KfzSBHH, AUB 2020 and many more. These are not only explained in detail, but also commented on in a practical way with regard to the latest case law.
