Loschelder Scholarship 2026
LOSCHELDER has now awarded its Promotion Scholarship for the 29th time. With the aim of contributing to the connection between academia and practice, the firm supports doctoral projects of qualified young lawyers with two scholarships per year.
The recipient of the 29th Loschelder Promotion Scholarship is Mr Sam Klomfaß, who is writing a dissertation on the topic "The Effects of the CSRD on the Activities of the Supervisory Board" under the supervision of Prof. Dr Pöschke, LL.M. (Harvard). Prof. Dr Pöschke LL.M. (Harvard) is the Managing Director of the Institute for Sustainability, Corporate Law and Reporting at the University of Cologne.
Mr Klomfaß receives a monthly stipend of EUR 2,000 as well as a workspace at the firm, whose facilities (e.g. legal databases, libraries) he may use for the preparation of his dissertation. In addition, he is integrated into the work of the Corporate Law practice group one day per week, thereby gaining practical insights into legal practice.
During this time, Mr Klomfaß is supervised by our lawyer Dr Marcel Kleemann, who advises on corporate law.
Applications for the 30th Loschelder Promotion Scholarship (winter semester 2026) may be submitted until 31 October 2026. Further information is available here.
