Loschelder doctoral scholarship 2024
The law firm LOSCHELDER has now awarded its doctoral scholarship for the 25th time. With the aim of contributing to the connection between science and practice, the firm supports doctoral projects of qualified young lawyers (m/f/d) with two scholarships each year.
The recipient of the 25th Loschelder doctoral scholarship is Mr. Karl Bukpiev, who studied at the University of Bonn and is now working on a dissertation on stock corporation law at the University of Düsseldorf under Prof. Dr. Christian Kersting, LL.M. (Yale) (Chair of Civil Law as well as German and International Corporate, Commercial and Antitrust Law).
Mr. Bukpiev receives a grant of EUR 2,000 per month as well as a workplace in the law firm, whose facilities (e.g. legal databases, libraries) he can use for the preparation of his dissertation. In addition, he will be involved in client work in corporate law one day a week, giving him a practical insight into the work of a lawyer.
During this time, Mr. Bukpiev will be supervised by our partner Dr. Martin Empt, who advises and represents companies and entrepreneurs in structural and liability issues as well as in corporate law disputes.
Interested parties can apply for the 26th Loschelder doctoral scholarship (summer semester 2025) until 31.03.2024. Further information can be found here.
