LOSCHELDER PhD scholarship 2022
LOSCHELDER has now awarded a PhD scholarship for the 21st time. With the aim of contributing to the connection between science and practice, the law firm supports doctoral projects of qualified young lawyers with two scholarships each year.
The recipient of the 21st Loschelder Doctoral Scholarship is Ms. Anika Janetzki, who is working on a dissertation with Prof. Dr. Dirk Looschelders on the topic “Interpretation of a joint spouse's will in the event of simultaneous death”. Prof. Dr. Dirk Looschelders holds the Chair of Civil Law, Private International Law and Comparative Law as well as Private Insurance Law at Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf.
Ms. Janetzki receives a grant of 1,500 euros per month as well as a workplace in the law firm, whose facilities (e.g. legal databases, libraries) she can use to write her dissertation. In addition, she will be involved in the firm's work one day a week in relation to inheritance law, giving her a practical insight into the work of a lawyer.
During this time, Ms. Janetzki will be supervised by our lawyer Dr. Luise Hauschild, whose work focuses on providing comprehensive advice to entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial families on corporate and private asset succession and family governance.
Interested parties can apply for the 22nd Loschelder doctoral scholarship (winter semester 2022/2023) until 2022-10-31. Further information can be found here.
