LOSCHELDER advised INDUS Holding AG on the sale of all shares in MEWESTA Hydraulik GmbH & Co. KG (MEWESTA) to Lange Beteiligungen GmbH.
Based in Münsingen, Baden-Württemberg, MEWESTA Hydraulik GmbH & Co. KG specialises in the development and manufacture of hydraulic control blocks for mechanical and plant engineering. The company employs 44 people and generates annual revenue of approximately EUR 5 million. Its customers include manufacturers of machine tools, plastic injection moulding machines, construction machinery and conveying technology systems. MEWESTA had been part of the INDUS investment portfolio since 1997 and was allocated to the Materials Solutions segment.
INDUS Holding AG, which has been listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (SDAX) since 1995, focuses on acquiring and further developing family-owned companies internationally that are distinguished by exceptional engineering capabilities. INDUS Holding AG is headquartered in Bergisch Gladbach and has more than 40 companies with operations worldwide in its portfolio. In 2024, INDUS Holding AG generated revenue of approximately EUR 1.72 billion. The sale of MEWESTA forms part of the active management of the portfolio under the company’s EMPOWERING MITTELSTAND corporate strategy.
The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
