LOSCHELDER has advised INDUS Holding AG on the acquisition of a majority stake in Pro Video Handelsgesellschaft mbH Berlin Broadcast- und Konferenztechnik (Pro Video).
Founded in 1991, Pro Video is a provider of professional media technology and develops solutions for large-scale audiovisual projects in Germany. The company’s customers are to be found in both the business sector (including BASF, Microsoft, and Bertelsmann) and the education and administration sectors (various colleges, universities, and federal ministries). Pro Video is based in Berlin, Germany, and employs around 40 people at its locations in Berlin and Braunschweig. The annual turnover of Pro Video amounts to about 24 million euros.
INDUS Holding AG, listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (SDAX) since 1995, focuses on the acquisition and international development of family-run companies that stand out for their unique engineering capabilities. INDUS Holding AG is based in Bergisch Gladbach (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany) and has more than 40 companies with global activities in its portfolio. In 2024, INDUS Holding AG generated sales of about 1.72 billion euros. INDUS Holding AG will support Pro Video as a long-term investor and strengthen the engineering division within its own group of companies with this investment.
The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
