LOSCHELDER Advises Atlas Copco on Acquisition of LEWA GmbH and Geveke B.V.
LOSCHELDER advised Atlas Copco on the acquisition of LEWA GmbH, Geveke B.V. and all of their national and international subsidiaries.
Founded in 1952, LEWA GmbH develops and distributes industry-specific, high-quality pump solutions for a wide range of industrial sectors. The company is headquartered in Leonberg, Germany, and, together with its 15 subsidiaries, employs around 1,200 people. In 2021, LEWA GmbH's sales amounted to approximately 233 million euros.
Geveke B.V. was founded in 1874 and is headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Geveke also develops and distributes industrial pump solutions. The company employs 173 people and generated sales of around 61 million euros in 2021.
Atlas Copco is a leading international provider of sustainable industrial productivity solutions. The group is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, and has a global reach spanning more than 180 countries. In 2021, Atlas Copco generated sales of about 11 billion euros with approximately 43,000 employees.
A substantial part of LEWA and Geveke will be integrated into the Power and Flow Division within Atlas Copco's Power Technique Business Area, a smaller part will be assigned to the Service Division within Atlas Copco's Compressor Technique Area.
The companies will be acquired based on an aggregate enterprise value of about approximately 670 million euros.
