LOSCHELDER Advises Atlas Copco on Acquisition of EXTEND3D GmbH
LOSCHELDER has advised Atlas Copco on the acquisition of EXTEND3D GmbH.
EXTEND3D GmbH develops and produces augmented reality systems including 3D video and laser projectors supporting manufacturing processes in Industry 4.0 through dynamic video and laser projections. The company primarily serves customers in the automotive, large transportation, aerospace and general industry sectors. EXTEND3D GmbH was founded in 2010, is based in Munich, Germany, and employs 16 people.
Atlas Copco is a leading international provider of sustainable industrial productivity solutions. The group is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, and has a global presence in more than 180 countries. In 2022, Atlas Copco generated sales of about EUR 12 billion (141 BSEK) with approximately 49,000 employees. EXTEND3D will become part of Motor Vehicle Industry Division within the Industrial Technique business area.
The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
