LOSCHELDER has advised Atlas Copco Group on the acquisition of VISION TOOLS Bildanalyse Systeme GmbH.
Founded in 1986, VISION TOOLS Bildanalyse Systeme GmbH develops and distributes image analysis systems for various areas of industrial production which are based on software-supported image analysis processes and robotics. The company is based in Waghäusel, Germany, and employs about 80 people. In 2023, the company achieved revenues of approximately 14 million euros.
Atlas Copco Group is a leading international provider of sustainable industrial productivity solutions. The group is headquartered in Nacka/Stockholm, Sweden, and has a global reach spanning more than 180 countries. In 2023, Atlas Copco generated sales of about 15 billion euros with approximately 53,000 employees. VISION TOOLS Bildanalyse Systeme GmbH will become part of the Motor Vehicle Industry Tools and Assembly Systems Division within Atlas Copco Group’s Industrial Technique Business Area.
The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
