Five New Partners "from our own ranks
After Dr Nils Derksen joined the partnership as a lateral since November 1, 2021, we are now very pleased to announce that we have appointed five new partners from our own ranks as of January 1, 2022.
Dr Maike Friedrich, LL.M., is a specialist in administrative law and advises on all aspects of public building law. She assists investors in the preparation of project-related and proposal development plans and supports the public sector in matters of building planning law. The focus of her work is on the interface between construction planning law and immission control law, in particular on noise protection issues. Maike Friedrich has been with LOSCHELDER since 2013.
Dr Robert Kessler is a specialist attorney for construction and architectural law and advises companies in all areas of private construction law. He handles litigation in liability cases and represents architects and engineers in fee issues. At the interface of private construction law and real estate law, he advises investors during construction and drafts construction and planning contracts. He also specializes in advising and litigating in the field of plant construction as well as in product liability law and construction product law. Robert Kessler has been with LOSCHELDER since 2015.
Dr Marcel Kleemann advises on corporate law, in particular on all aspects of directors' and officers' liability, compliance, corporate disputes and the preparation and conduct of shareholders' meetings and general meetings. He also has extensive experience in conducting internal investigations. Marcel Kleemann joined LOSCHELDER in 2017, having started at the international law firm Linklaters three years earlier.
Dr Sandra Orlikowski-Wolf is a specialist in insurance law and advises in particular on D&O insurance, financial loss liability, public and product liability insurance and construction insurance law. The focus of her work is on advising clients and representing them in court in major claims. Sandra Orlikowski-Wolf has many years of experience in litigation, including arbitration proceedings. After three years at the international law firm Hengeler Mueller, she joined LOSCHELDER in 2006 and was Counsel since 2019.
Dr Hans-Georg Schreier, LL.M., advises on all aspects of commercial law, in particular on the legal structuring of complex supply relationships and in risk and crisis situations. He has special experience in the area of product liability and regularly represents clients before courts and in arbitration proceedings. He also has special expertise in advising financial service providers in the area of leasing and refinancing. Hans-Georg Schreier has been with LOSCHELDER since 2014.
Five partner appointments from within the firm's own ranks underscore the fact that LOSCHELDER offers outstanding associates the opportunity to take on responsibility from the outset, significantly expand or develop new areas of consulting, and thus grow into the partner role.
