We have been advising clients such as broadcasting organisations and tele-media providers for many years. We provide legal advice on all issues relating to the presentation and distribution of their services. This includes the establishment of a broadcasting organisation as well as conducting licensing procedures including concentration aspects as well as regulatory procedures such as youth protection.

Of course, we also draft and negotiate for you contracts for the supply, compilation and distribution of contents of all kinds. If and to the extent that the distribution is subject to government regulation, on your behalf we handle the required applications for assignment of terrestrial frequencies and cable transmission capacity with the Landesmedienanstalten (Media Agencies of the German Länder). We conduct the negotiations for infrastructure agreements with network operators – satellite, terrestrial, cable, DSL networks and others. We also provide advice on all issues concerning the digital distribution of contents, especially for the design and use of technical platforms such as Conditional Access and navigators as well as programme platforms.
