Prof. Dr. Ruttig advises on all aspects of media law. In addition to media and press law, he specializes in copyright law and gambling law. He advises on the content of publications and assists those affected in the enforcement of claims against media coverage. Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Ruttig has extensive experience in media and press law court proceedings on the part of those affected as well as from the perspective of media companies.
He is co-author and co-editor of several works on media and gambling law, including the standard commentary on gambling law published by C. H. Beck-Verlag. In addition, Prof. Dr. Ruttig is a lecturer in media law at the Fresenius University of Applied Sciences, where he also holds an honorary professorship. He teaches digital law at the university's Cologne location.
