Industry is increasingly dependent on energy. However, energy and gas supplies are – like communication – bound to infrastructure. This gives rise to manifold questions, especially as regards network access and the regulation of network fees.
We provide advice on all issues of energy supply, network use and unbundling to network operators, suppliers and commercial energy purchasers.
We support and assist you in regulation proceedings before the Bundesnetzagentur (German Federal Network Agency), the Bundeskartellamt (German Federal Cartel Office) and the regulatory authorities of the German Länder as well as in judicial proceedings regarding energy supply.
In addition, we draft and negotiate contracts for energy supply and energy contracting. If disputes arise about contract performance, we support and assist you in dispute settlement both in and out of court.
We are also engaged in the field of renewable energy, especially regarding all issues of feed-in and cost shifting as well as indemnification against the relevant costs in energy-intensive industries.
