We advise insurers, policyholders and insured persons comprehensively in all questions of insurance law.

For insurers, we defend coverage and liability claims, draft and revise their liability insurance terms and conditions and amend their terms and conditions to reflect current legal, political and economic developments. For policyholders and co-insured persons, we enforce coverage claims (out of court and, if necessary, before the German courts or in arbitration), defend against liability claims and provide advice on the scope of the insurance cover of specific liability insurance contracts to avoid coverage gaps.

Complex damage claims often do not only concern questions of insurance and liability law itself. In order to provide comprehensive advice for our clients when dealing with interdisciplinary issues, we work in teams in close cooperation with our colleagues from other teams in the firm, e.g. in the areas of corporate law, construction and real estate law, labour law and public law.
