Dr. Michael Loschelder is a co-publisher of the “Handbuch des Wettbewerbsrechts”, which has recently been published in its fourth edition.
The manual published by Gloy/Loschelder/Erdmann is a practical and systematic presentation of unfair competition law for everybody active in this field, particularly for judges and lawyers in law firms, companies and associations.
The manual already considers the reform of the German Act against Unfair Competition, which entered into force on Dec. 30th, 2008, and which transposes Directive 2005/29/EC concerning unfair commercial practices. The German Act against Illicit Telemarketing and for Improvement of Consumer Protection, which entered into force on Aug. 4th, 2009, has also already been included.
Dr. Michael Loschelder, partner of Loschelder Rechtsanwälte, and Prof. Dr. Willi Erdmann, retired presiding judge at the German Federal High Court of Justice are the publishers of this edition of the manual, which was originally initiated by Dr. Wolfgang Gloy, a co-publisher until the third edition. The authors are experienced lawyers, judges and professors, who are well-known from numerous publications and familiar with the subject from their daily practice. Some of them have also been directly involved in the legislative procedure as experts. Besides the publishers Dr. Thomas Schulte-Beckhausen, Dr. Stefan Maaßen, LL.M., and Dr. Tanja Dörre from the unfair competition team of Loschelder Rechtsanwälte are among the authors.
